In this article, I'm going to highlight the correct techniques to pop acne manually. I know, I know. This is the big no-no as told by all the acne gurus.
You see, the reason why you are advised to leave a zit alone is because if you pop it the wrong way, a few bad things will happen:
1. You touch your face using unclean hands and you end up aggravating the acne with the bacteria in your hands or the appratus you used.
2. You squeezed too strongly and you are left with a scar from injury. This scar can heal but leave a mark, have uneven surface that is non reversible or becomes a freckle.
But heck, if we can pop a zit without making the mistakes above, I don't see a single problem.
Be sure to wash your face throughly. Clogged pores are more easy to be cleared when the skin is moist and soft.
To dilate pores for easy extraction, fill up your basin with the hottest water from your mixer. Position your face downwards facing the water with a towel behind your head, trapping steam to work on your face. Do this for 10-15 minutes.
Obviously, to start squeezing a zit, you must wash your hand with an anti-bacterial soap. Wash the inside of your fingernails. Wash also any apparatus you want to use on your skin.
In this case, I will suggest you use tissues. To make an easy 'exit' for the zit, poke gently on the zit using a clean needle.
Next, using a piece of tissue to protect your face from your fingernails, press firmly on the left and right of the zit towards the "exit". When it pops, wipe off the liquid puss. Then, press on the top and bottom of zit firmly to remove any excess puss.
Sometimes you have to alternately press on its left-right and top-bottom before the zit pops. Also, you must wait until the zit is "ripe" for popping (as in it has an "eye" and it's huge). Always leave a "blind" zit alone as the risk of injury is high.
Congratulations! You have just successfully clear a zit from it's root. You have eliminated the bacteria infested sebum with its "head". This is the most effective way for a zit to heal.
That is not all. You must treat the area afterwards or new sebum will fill the space inside the pore and your acne will be more severe. Immediately apply some tea tree oil or coleus oil to kill off the bacteria since the pore is now "open". Then spray some aspirin mist and let it dry naturally.
Do this right and you'll get acne free skin permanently, because you convert the inflammed pore (a zit) back to its original state. If you do this before aspirin mask, you'll heal even faster.
* If you managed to remove some puss but not the pimple's "head", don't force it. We want to play safe here to prevent scarring. Wait till it dry up (drying up is faster since you removed some of the content) and heal. Apply anti-bacterial stuff while the pore is open. I will show you how to extract hardened keratinocytes easily without scarring.

Winter Forever
Tired of cold weather and dry skin here.
